The Harmony School of Decatur is a preparatory preschool serving children 2 - 5 years of age since 2008.
We believe it is of the utmost importance for children to have a balanced learning experience, therefore our students enjoy spending time in our outdoor classroom, gardening, painting, and dramatic play as well as learning the fundamentals of math, language, and reading which prepares them for Kindergarten. We further believe that each and every child is born with special gifts and talents. We nurture these gifts in our culturally diverse environment so our children feel free to blossom into the special individuals that they are, during their growth at The Harmony School and beyond.
Former parents of our graduates consistently report how well our program has prepared their children both socially and academically. Our graduates score exceptionally well on standardized tests, show an early interest in math and science, and are little social butterflies at schools such as The Friends School of Atlanta, The Museum School, St. Thomas More Catholic School,
The City Schools of Decatur, Midvale International Baccalaureate, Atlanta Montessori International School, Suwanee Elementary Gifted Program, and so many more. We have been able to achieve this through social play, interactive learning, teacher assisted learning and self-discovery.
Our classrooms are warm and cozy with lots of natural light, providing a wonderful experience for children. Additionally, we provide the best environment possible, as we encourage and support environmentally responsible practices.
